Occupiers’ Liability Seminar, Exeter

Tuesday 28 April 2015 12:00 PM

Have you ever wondered about occupiers’ liability for people coming onto their land – for instance a surveyor conducting a survey? And are you aware that it is not just people who have been invited onto land who are owed a duty – a landowner owes a duty to trespassers as well. Come and join us for a training seminar on occupiers’ liability given by Vivien King of Hatherleigh Training. Vivien was formerly a partner in City of London firms and is now a consultant to Malcolm Hollis and is acknowledged as a leading expert in the field of property litigation. This training is not just geared towards solicitors and will be of value and interest to a range of the professions and provides 1 hour of non-accredited CPD.

Clay Pigeon Shooting, Pentillie Castle

Thursday 04 June 2015 11:30 AM

Women in Property’s Devon and Cornwall Satellite Branch invites you to join us for an exhilarating clay-pigeon shooting taster session followed by an informal lunch in the grounds of the renowned Pentillie Castle. The Channel 4 series, Country House Rescue, featured Pentillie Castle where Ruth Watson advised the Coryton family during the restoration period. The clay-pigeon shooting will emulate a normal pheasant shoot as far as possible, with instruction provided as necessary, and making the most of the spectacular grounds at Pentillie that look across to Dartmoor. It should be an excellent opportunity to make new acquaintances and catch up with old ones.
